The key to making your space your “happy place” is to make it pleasing to the eye. Our bedrooms are the place we spend some time relaxing and avoiding the rest of the world. Here are a few ways to make your room is aesthetically friendly, and where you’ll always want to escape.

Color scheme

Coming up with a color scheme is the first step. Stick to a pattern of two or three major colors: my favorite is black, white, and grey. This will automatically make your bedroom look more put together because it is easy on the eye. Keeping your color scheme neutral will give you the ability to add subtle pops of color throughout the rest of your room.

Lights

Lights, flashes, lights. Ah, what can be more beautiful than fairy lights? You can hang up fairy lights in your room anywhere and it will still look beautiful. You can also hang it, if you have, with your polaroid images. Depending on the length of string lights you require, you can get fairy lights at a very cheap and affordable price.

White string lights are a great option too. They are simple and cheap and add your room with extra oomph. They are also perfect for having a more relaxed light when you want to turn off your bright lights.

Wall Art and hangings

If you still have a blank wall in your house, you can hang motivational quotes, a picture of your hero or any wall art. This will only make your room look more Tumblr and minimalist particularly when you hang one with a black and white theme. You can do one by printing motivational pictures.

Candles

Scented candles are the perfect perfume to have in your room. Smell includes aesthetics too! Bath & Body Works has the best smelling candles and aesthetically pleasing packaging too! For years I’ve been obsessed, and can’t get enough.

Minimal Furniture

Always keep the furniture minimal in your room. Simple bedding and a sofa seat or a bean bag are enough for your room. Some of the minimalist rooms with the most success include an eclectic mix of different styles and eras of furniture and decor. Within this living area, the mid-century chairs, contemporary sofas, and modern tables offer plenty of opportunities to simply relax and enjoy the main draw: those spacious, floor-to-ceiling views of the great outdoors. The less the wooden work is done, the less chances of pests and termites are there. So always have a pesticide which is good and responsible pest control that really helps to control it.

Well organized

It’s kind of self-explanatory. Staying organized is crucial to achieving an aesthetically pleasing room! Staying on top of it and keeping your room clean and organized will allow you to truly relax, rather than worry about cleaning up a mess all the time!

So that’s it for today, if you think or intend to decorate your room later we hope this article will support you in some way. You can really make your room look decent and organized in a simple way.
